It's my second favorite of all the books. I think its got a little different feel to the story, but its a really good book.

i liked this one a lot. bilbo has a different perspective on things that makes the book good.

There still working on copy right issues. But PJ has said he really want to do it.

I think it will be ok. He might cut some stuff out, but it will ba a lot like LOTR.

The Hobbit has got to be my favorite book ever... I just love it, I don't know why... It's just... really, really good. I've probably read it a thousand times. :wink:

I don't know, a movie of The Hobbit would be nice, but it would ruin any mental pictures I have... ALSO, I just don't think that it would be very popular, I mean... Among fans of the book and Tolkien would probably go see it... But I just think that "normal" people wouldn't get it... It's a bit much to take in all at once... It's not like, sit down in the movie theater and watch some killing movie... You actually have to pay attention.

I disagree with you on people would get it. It would be shown as the prequel to LOTR, and there's people in the story that any fan of the movies would know right away. Plus I think if it turns out as good as LOTR, then anybody who like LOTR will go see the Hobbit.

and it would go on the backs of the other movies and lots of people would see it, and the actually lord of the rings fans who get their fans.

I mean, I'm the biggest Ringer you'll ever meet. And I'd probably like to see a Hobbit movie more than even Peter Jackson, I just don't know how succesful it would be... But you never know unless you try I suppose.
